MSU Grades Launch
2017
MSU Grades goes live, becoming an instant hit among students looking for course planning insights.
Company Formation
2020
Grades LLC is officially formed to manage the growing platform and expand its reach.
Michigan Expansion
2023
The company begins expanding beyond MSU, filing FOIA requests for colleges & universities across Michigan.
FOIA Explorer Launch
2024
The company launches foia.grades.us to provide public access to all of our FOIA correspondence and datasets.
Midwest Expansion
2025
The company begins filing FOIA requests to schools across all states in the Midwest.
Data Visualization Launch
2026 (planned)
Planned for 2026: Launch a grade distribution visualization platform (like MSU Grades) for other schools that have provided their data.
